Good news: Hospitality executives report a positive outlook for 2011

Hotel Interactive- Recent survey reveals that nearly 90 percent of top hospitality leaders are bullish about the 12-month outlook for the US hospitality industry. 69 percent of respondents report that TripAdvsior and other social media, including Twitter and Facebook, have changed the way they interact with guests.

HSMAI Awards! Laura Davidson Public Relations receives 10 Adrian Awards, including Platinum for Abercrombie & Kent

Last night, HSMAI recognized LDPR during the annual Adrian Awards Gala, a black-tie affair attended by more than 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism marketing executives, at the New York Marriott Marquis.

New York, NY (February 1, 2011) – The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) honored Laura Davidson Public Relations (LDPR) with ten awards including 1 Platinum, 5 Gold and 4 Bronze for public relations excellence in the 54th annual Adrian Awards Competition, the world’s largest and most prestigious travel, tourism and hospitality marketing competition.

Laura Davidson PR took home a coveted Platinum Award for its consumer marketing campaign for Abercrombie & Kent’s Extreme Adventure program. In addition, five Gold Awards and four Bronze Awards were won for programs and placements for Tourism Victoria, Tourism Montreal, VisitScotland, Atlantis Paradise Island, The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples, The Resort at Paws Up (2 awards) and Abercrombie & Kent (2 awards).
