AND THE WINNER IS...

LDPR won gold honors for Abercrombie & Kent's Extreme Adventures in the 2009 Cushman/SATW PR Award Category of “Best Publicity Campaign for a Single Entity or Brand.”

Utilizing a full-range of creative techniques including a partnership with Tumi Luggage, bringing a camel and tented safari camp into New York's Rockefeller Center Plaza and securing feature stories about Chairman and CEO Geoffrey Kent, LDPR tied its efforts directly into bookings for this luxury tour operator.

The Aaron D. Cushman/Society of American Travel Writers Public Relations Awards honor those on the public relations side of the travel business who produce outstanding campaigns that help to bring attention to their hotel, destination or attraction clients.

Congratulations also to the Orlando/Orange County CVB for taking the silver in the “Most Creative Special Event” Category for AirTran YES to Orlando Airplane Unveiling.
